Cancellation Policy

~Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy ~Booking retainer Booking may include a $30 retainer to book. ~Client-Initiated Cancellations Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled session will result in forfeiture of the retainer. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled session will be charged 100% of the session fee, as the date cannot be rebooked on short notice. ~Client-Initiated Rescheduling One (1) reschedule is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice, and the retainer will be applied to the new date. Additional reschedule requests will require a new retainer. Rescheduled sessions must take place within 14 days of the original date, subject to availability. ~Weather & Equine-Specific Conditions Because equine work is weather-dependent, the following applies: If unsafe or unsuitable conditions occur (severe weather, unsafe footing, extreme wind, or conditions that would compromise horse or rider safety), the session may be rescheduled at the photographer/videographer’s discretion. Weather-related reschedules are allowed once without penalty and must be completed within 14 days. Light overcast, wind, or seasonal conditions typical to outdoor equine environments are not considered grounds for cancellation. ~Horse or Rider Unavailability If a horse is unavailable due to lameness, behavioral issues, lack of preparation, or rider absence: The session may proceed with other scheduled horses, or The session may be rescheduled once, provided 48 hours’ notice is given. Same-day cancellations for horse readiness issues are treated as client-initiated cancellations. ~Photographer/Videographer Cancellation In the rare event that the photographer/videographer must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, all payments made will be refunded or applied to a rescheduled date at the client’s discretion. No further liability is assumed. ~Acknowledgment By booking a session, the client acknowledges and agrees to this rescheduling and cancellation policy.
